The action in this General Hospital spoilers preview for the week of August 5 opens with a bang. Kristina (Kate Mansi) is in the hospital after falling into the Metro Court pool following an altercation with Ava (Maura West).
Sonny (Maurice Benard) is furious and wants Ava to pay. However, one wrong move could have dire consequences for Kristina, her unborn child, and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn).
At the hospital, Alexis is on the phone with Dr. Adrian (Max Gail), who gives her an update on Kristina's condition. Alexis is worried sick and fears the worst. Meanwhile, Kristina confronts Ava at the Metro Court, and the two women exchange heated words.
Later, Sonny confronts Ava and threatens her. Ava is defiant and refuses to back down. She believes that she was justified in her actions and that Kristina got what she deserved.
